About the Crafter

Description: Fisher Forge traditional hardware is made with heavy gauge metal and includes delicate details and gentle curves which reflect the high degree of skill accomplished by the forger, David Fisher. The sturdiness of centuries old originals have been replicated to provide you with door; cabinet hand chest hardware that bears striking resemblance to pieces found in private and museum collections throughout the country. All hand-forged hardware intended for interior application is wire wheel brushed, heated to give the natural blackened finish, and then brushed with a linseed and turpentine. If you desire to use any of this hardware for exterior use, please see note for exterior finish requirements. Note: If hinges are for external application, a primer is added for weather protection; additional charges will apply for the outside primer.

Allow 2 weeks minimnum for the forger to complete this order, this is handcrafted and American Made.
